Great start for a solo diver.

The purpose of the OWD course is to train participants for independent diving with a certified partner up to the recommended depth of 18 m.

With multimedia aids and modern didactic material through theoretical and practical lessons, and a minimum of 6 dives in open water, you will learn the basics of scuba diving, diving equipment and how to choose and use it, communicate underwater, how the underwater environment affects our body and how we adapt to it, you will get to know the flora and fauna.

While part of the theory is taught independently at home, and part is conducted through discussion in the classroom. The practical part consists of exercises in protected waters, and their practical application in open waters.


  • the minimum age is 15 years or 12 for JOWD with the written consent of a parent or guardian
  • knowledge of swimming and water maintenance
  • without heart and respiratory system problems
